Does this fit 7.0? Why not work with upstream?

I can confirm that the procedure in the README works for version 7 in linux(repository installation).

Sorry Guys, I've been a way from OS contribution last couple months.

yes, I tested on v7.0 on linux & windows, and its working very well.

@mightyiam , if you still have this issue please feed us with more details (e.g. Error Log) so we can trace and decide if its a bug Issue related to patch or not. again, sorry for latency.
