after installing via the pallet, restarting node-red and trying the copy/paste code example, the map doesn't generate.

Not sure if I am missing something?

Hey @Noodleyman,

I see two possible causes:

Perhaps you are running an older dashboard version. Minimum version 2.10.0 is required, to support custom UI nodes...
Perhaps you can see following error in your browser console log:

This is an error that I now get (for the first time ...) when I install it on one of my Raspberries. Will have to analyze that one further ...

Thanks for your feedback. The version of dashboard installed is 2.13.2.

You are correct, I did note a console warning. I should have picked up on that sooner :/

I'm guessing some sort of permission

After this discussion on the Node-RED forum, it is hopefully solved.

I have published a new 1.1.0 version on NPM. Would be nice if you could test it and give me feedback ...
