Why can't we just add another tradable when pressing this button?
The assumption was that unless it was a different source, the quantity should be incremented.

Here I have this game in a big package from "Other store, key" and had to add another standalone tradable. Had to use workaround A to add this second tradable.
Fully agree that #25 will make the site a lot better. Right now the only way to get a match on DLC's included in a package, is to add combined tradables. Still, there are situations where you want two non-store, unique tradables. Currently, the quantity isn't even incremented when clicking the Add new tradable button.
If you have zero of a tradable, you don't have it.
I have my reasons for doing this.
Currently, the quantity isn't even incremented when clicking the Add new tradable button.
Incrementing quantity when adding from the bundle page is one of my pet feature requests of many years ago that doesn't even have a GitHub issue. (When I want to add tradables from a second bundle copy, I have to do/adjust this manually for each game that will have more than one identical tradable in the end, to get the quantity right.)
I also want to shoutout #166. Currently if I try to add a second tradable after having a non-store tradable, I lose all my input.
What problem does this feature address?
I wish that it was possible to add a new tradable from /i/ pages via the "Add another tradable" button even though you already have a couple of non-store-tagged tradables already. Currently if you press this button, the non-store-tagged tradable gets highlighted.
The current workaround is to a) Add a fake, temporary "Store" to the already existing tradable, --> add a new tradable --> remove the fake store
or b) Add a fake bundle tag before pressing "Add new tradable" and then remove bundle tag after.
