Barter is the superior way of checking if you have something they want and don't own, so I always use the offer screen window to find a decent deal (if they are available), and then in some cases send that offer on the other trade site.

If we could open up the offer window with unavailable users, I would have a really good way of sending offers on other sites, using the powerful functions of Barter. The offer screen window is so much better than the match and filter pages on the user's tradable or wishlist page, for this reason: you can create temporary "fake" offers (add games to offer), and then you will see so much more information about the games than you can see on the filter/match page. I can see T:W ratio, * bundles, global warnings,, while with filter/match page I can only see 1 or 2 things at the same time.
