Reduce external dependencies to simplify build #24

Need to see how to simplify the build process by removing external dependencies. Current ones include:

autoconf-archive
python-yaml (and libyaml2)
python-markdown
python-BeautifulSoup

Not requiring yaml and autoconf-archive is going to be more of a pain, these need to be solved by providing a dist tarball rather than code out of the repo directly.
