Update configuration to accomodate using Glib on all the platforms #74

My thought was that initially I'd not expose it to the end user. Just wanting to use some nice things like queues and maps, etc. Probably want to use their string library, too. I guess I can see if it eventually make sense to expose the Glib interfaces to the end user, too.
