is there any doc about the usage of the lib? Maybe the readme could point to it or at least some blogs?

Thanks Benoitc, yes, the lib is a little unloved of late and needs a lot of fixing up, branches merging, and documentation adding. I can't say "I'll get right on it" but it is certainly on the todo list. In the meantime if you have specific questions I can help you with then #riak is IRC or the riak-users mailing list would be the place to ask. Sorry.

hmm, I think no, keep open. It's a legit request, and still an aim of mine to address it.
