10 years ago Hey Vader, thanks for this. I've already gotten started on tricks, just somersault after ramps, but you are probably right about the other stuff. You're more than welcome to try and implement it yourself if you get there before I do!
At the moment my basic implementation works after jumping pressing T.
The original indeed had tricks. I believe it was flipping after jumps on ramps with up, and you could turn sideways while jumping (I think it was rendered as holding the skis with knees bent to either side) all of which racked up extra points for you.
But if you didn't right yourself in time to land you wrecked and got nothing.
