I suspect there is a problem with one of those 4 hosts. I would try testing with one host at a time and see if one of them causes an issue. I personally have over 20 hosts with no problem, and i know of people who have over 100.
I have tried it with different ones, one at a time.
But it seems that each time I add a host on Windows Server 2016 the GUI becomes slower with each host added, regardless of what host it is. Regardless if the host is switched on / switched off. I tried many different combinations, but as soon as it exceeds 4 hosts in Windows Server 2016 the GUI hangs if the pinger is enabled. All other functions works fine in Windows Server 2016.
I copied the config file, with more than 4 hosts, from the Windows Server 2016 PC to many Windows 10 PCs and it works fine on all of them. The issue seems to be only with WakeOnLan running in Windows Server 2016.
WakeOnLan Version: V2.12.4, Operating System: Windows Server 2016
Problem: Its seems that on Windows 2016 the GUI hangs if the Pinger is enabled with more than 4 Hosts powered on. If more than 4 hosts on the list are powered up the WakeOnLan GUI hangs indefinitely.
If the Pinger is disabled, it works fine but you cannot see the PC status.
The config file has been tested in Windows 7 and Windows 10 and both work fine with and without the pinger.
