Yaw reading is incorrect #26

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When I rotate the IMI parallel to the ground by 180 degrees the yaw angle
does not change by 180 degres=es
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
180 degree change is not observed, it appears to be somewhat less, perhaps 140
degrees. I have tried many of the boards and they all behave the same way. It
appears to be some sort of bug in the code.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem, but when I rotate 90 degrees parallel to the ground
the yaw just shows a value around 50.

Maybe you have to 'calibrate' your magnetometer, see
