Did you find a fix? I have the same problem with Brave.
For brave I could "fix" this by enabling "Use system title bar and borders". Without this option brave has rounded borders and looks similar to opera in the picture above.
For me this fix is fine. It would probably look strange if the bspwm border and rounded corners of brave are displayed at the same time.
In chromium, this can be fixed in the settings of the browser "Use system title bar and borders", but for the opera I did not find a solution to the problem.
The reason for this is that from Opera 60 and Reborn 3 - Opera completed a revamp of the design - a completely new borderless browser was one of the new things they implemented. So like me - if you want to use Opera - we have to live without borders on our browser. No biggie for me personally as I always have it in fullscreen anyway
All windows except the opera display the borders of the window, please tell me how to make the borders of a particular window show? The space for the border around the browser is reserved, but the border itself is not displayed. Used on Arch linux system. bspwm 0.9.9-1 bspwm-git 0.9.9.r3
