Obviously minimizing would not make much sense in a tiling window manager setup. Outside of this, bare minimum configuration options like choosing to display whatever icon/image a user would want instead of a default button icon set (say maximize and close).

Alternatively this could also be implemented as a blank titlebar box, using which users can assign custom command (actions) for whatever icon they choose to place in the space (akin to polybar modules?)

I love using bspwm as the keyboard master controller that it already is, but having this additional bit of flexibility would truly go a long way.

I would also like to see this functionality as an option.

I love tiling WMs, but sometimes I can't reach/use the keyboard to close windows (when eating something with one hand or just leaning back in my chair). In those cases, it would be nice to also be able to close windows using just the mouse.
