[Feature Request] OTA updater #242

The ability to update Plato from within Plato would be nice. I don't think we should annoy people with "An update is available!" notifications/popups though. A simple button that downloads the latest release, extracts it and restarts Plato would be a great start. Showing the changelog between the currently installed and the latest release would be nice to have.

Are there any issues to be aware of or difficulties you foresee in implementing OTA updates? I might have a look into this myself if this is something you'd accept a pull request for.

Yeah, that would be neat. KOReader is able to update it within the app.
