Feature requested: the ability to turn off every screen brush shortcut, save the most essential ones (press anywhere not a border: overall menu with formatting, search, link to chapter list and pagination below, indicators and hamburger system button above), press/brush right/left border (prev/next page)... And that is all.
Let's call it: minimum movements mode.
Argument for this: at least for me, it is damnably easy to lose your page for unknown reasons and end up in an apparently random other moment in our book, which is super infuriating. I really hope it just plagues me and my personal reading habits (in bed, using the side of a finger... Until for the Nth bloody time of the week my page is lost again, and I must use a Search after desperately trying to remember a recently read long enough string of words that does not contain any of the accentuated letters my language is fond of even though Plato's keyboard does not allow them.)
Risking to trigger god knows what by accident just because a finger randomly accidentally brushed half a centimeter (another anecdote, yesterday I lay my Kobo on my sofa, and when I fetch it back, the screen had rotated 90 degrees, I had to Google how to revert it, argh) this is THE main thing I mention whenever I recommend Plato, in the "it is a real, actual improvement, however I must still mention this drawback" genre.
Not wanting to be ungrateful, Plato's speed and usability are worth it, especially on a slowing down aged reader, and I'm glad for whoever loves an interface with tons of features. Just wanting to mention a baby mode would also help some others.
