Adding Applications #61

Beforehand, thank you for a great software. Compiles clean, installs clean, smooth. My favorite reader on the kobo glo HD.

Applications are also great. 'Sketch' is very useful, and works better than an equivalent on my iphone 7+!

Was wondering: do you plan on adding new applications? A reversi for instance ...?

Could try to make one myself, even if I'd have to translate my c++ knowledge to rust... which requires some time!

Maybe take some inspiration from the TODO? I would love to see a terminal app! (and might one day try my hand at one)

A terminal would be great indeed. Installed pbchess which is ok (and reversi beat me, it must be good ;-)

Maybe a (markdown) note taker (+ reader)? Although that would create a lot of complexity.

I'd love to have an application for dog's ears – basically it should collect my notes and highlights and be able to take me to the respective pages when I browse them. How would I go with implementing something like this? Are there docs on how the user interface is managed etc or do I have to sift through the sources? Also, of course, thanks for the great software! It works and feels great, love using it on my Clara HD.

Just putting this out there:

Seemingly, this a pretty nice terminal app for KOBO devices: https://github.com/llandsmeer/inkvt

Maybe nice for inspiration, or some option to (easily) interact with it from plato. (though I haven't looked into it that much yet)
