potential bug, not continuing adaption #789

AL V1.19.1 HA V2023.9.1

I finally got to adding the rest of my inovelli switches in which allows me to no longer need my Hue Hub.

Let me start by saying everything was working as well expected before changing these lights over.

I use Inovelli Blue switches and Hue White Ambiance recessed bulbs.

I am running my lights and switches through ZHA.

I have a scene and automation combo setup in the way that when I press up on the switch it turns the lights on, enables adaptive color, adaptive brightness, disables adaptive lighting sleep mode and enables adaptive lighting in that order. My other automations for when I press down or hold up/down do the opposite for all those settings. Again this setup worked just fine previously.

After adopting the new lights/switches and turning off the hue hub (only the lights that didn't have Inovelli switches prior went through the hub, my living room lights for example were on Inovelli switches and not through the hue hub and were working)

The problem I have now is that they adapt when they first turn on but don't adapt again after, even though adaptive lighting and cooresponding functions are enabled. If I disable and reenable with about 2 seconds between they adapt as expected. If I reload they adapt as expected. Adapt only once is disabled.

I imagine you may need logs but am mobile right now, can attach later just tell me what you'd like to see.

Correction after checking just now, they sometimes adapt initially, reload makes them adapt every time.

Hi @Fonzi03, thanks for reporting!

Debugging logs will be appreciated. With the current information I cannot debug this unfortunately.

I will close this issue until you can provide the complete information :)
