error on the example project #7

What went wrong: Execution failed for task ':tasks'.

Could not create task ':react-native-usb-serialport-for-android:compileDebugJavaWithJavac'. In order to compile Java 9+ source, please set compileSdkVersion to 30 or above

im using react 11.3.6 and node 18 (lts)

any help?
