Hi @basvandijk - there were no updates of this package for quite some time - is it still maintained by you?

Hi @qrilka, thanks for your interest in my package. vector-bytestring was actually an experiment to see if I could provide a ByteString compatible API with an implementation based on vector. Unfortunately I don't have time anymore to maintain it.

Would you care to take it over? As a first step I could give you commit access to the repo...

It looks like we almost don't use it and the only place it's used in our current project could be safely rewritten without using it. So unfortunately I won't have large enough motivation to devote to this package.
