Shutdown on Batocera v39 Beta for rg353v (v2 version) Does not always work #11102

Issue description

Shutdown from the interface does not turn the device off. It works sometimes but it seems rare. When it does not, must hold power button down to get unit to fully power off.

Detailed reproduction steps

Press the start button go to quit then shutdown. Screen turns off but the device power light stays illuminated indicating it is not powered off

Unmodified beta release... Loving it so far. Great job!

I have the same issue with Batocera v39 release (batocera-rk3568-anbernic-rgxx3-39-20240229) on my RG353V. @paronowitz please can you test again with the version above and update the issue with the non beta release?

It was similar on the non beta release

I confirm that issue with batocera-rk3568-anbernic-rgxx3-39-20240229.img.gz on Anbernic RG353V.
