Batocera build version

39 2024/02/28

Your architecture

Odroid go advance Handheld running on a RockChip RK3326(Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A35 1.3GHz)

Your Graphic Processor Unit(s) (GPU)

Mali-G31 Dvalin

Issue description

Im entering my wifi, i can also just normally scan for the wifi signal so no need to search over SSID directly. So at some level the chip and software are functioning. It just doesn't come up as connected for some reason. My version has a 2,4 Ghz 802.11b / g / n (ESP-WROOM-S2) chip for wifi.

Detailed reproduction steps

I changed my os from ubuntu 18.04 advised from the hardkernel website to the batocera 39 2024/02/28 version. The wifi was working on ubuntu, so i know the internal module is working. The fact that i can even find my wifi tells me some part of it is working i just dont know what is keeping it from making the connection

Details of any attempts to fix this yourself

So far i have been looking in the settings to find something that might help, but nothing so far.

Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.

No mods only roms added

States it cannot find the network path. I also noticed the ip adres is a local fe80 one, no idea if that has relation to the issue.

And version rk3326 is my current version i believe, downloaded 2 days ago :)

ugh, for 2 days now i have been struggling trying to get hat ssh connection going. You would think it would be easy peasy. After fighting over it for 2 days i tried emuelec and it took right away. At least the kids have something to do with it for now. I might check back on it later though, i still think it has potential, mostly for myself though. Although i have the feeling its all based off the same source code. Looks and feels almost identical in any case. Any chance there is a img verion of that since the upgrading seems to be olmost impossible without the wifi xD.
