HK+start in RetroArch with Game Focus on is not working as expected #12595

Issue description

While inside RetroArch (any core) and having game focus on, if you hold down HK and then hit start, it is expected to exit the emu - it does not work, however. It DOES work when you hit HK+start simultaneously though

Detailed reproduction steps

Open any rom in any core in RetroArch. Make sure Game Focus is ON. Click and hold HK. Click start.

Details of any attempts to fix this yourself

When hitting HK and start simultaneously, it works as expected. I tried removing remaps, etc. I renamed System folder to system.old to do a "factory reset" - still not working.

Details of any modifications you have made to Batocera.

I have tried rolling back all modifications (factory reset) before reporting this issue to ensure that it wasn't my setup.

Logs and data

No logs show any info on this issue

When enabling Game Focus, it disable all hotkeys. Not really sure this is a bug or a bypass glitch if pressing fast.

what do you call "game focus" ? in batocera, game has always the focus in fact.

RdtroArch game focus feature as mentioned in the report, is what I mean :)
