Try this v35 upgrade here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1mGfpALzSkzXRdZPxE3JLnpqBNWPjyx4b
sorry i can't enable ssh on batocera. i have black screen ..
i updated version 33 but the fix doesn't work:black screen
I have see a similar issue in Batocera V35 beta1for RPi3. Black screen after the splash screen with the default settings. After i change resolution to 720p from config.txt
and change emulationstation resolution also to 720p i don't have issue.
This is still a problem. One workaround for those who need for example to enable ssh, is to use the HDMI port closest to the power supply, and unplug it for a little while, putting it back. Sometimes it takes a couple tries. But it would be nice it was fixed without these workarounds and tweaks to config.txt
Same issue here, after upgrading to 36 my screen stays blank. Adding this to cmdline.txt has no effect
video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080M@60
Also tried this in config.txt
hdmi_pixel_encoding:0=4
hdmi_pixel_encoding:1=4
Okay, in my case I was having the "No Input" after the batocera splash screen. I realized I had a list of splash videos that I downloaded from youtube, with video games 90's commercials. Some of the videos were never played on boot...
From the menu, system settings, splash settings I changed the configuration to batocera splash image and it worked. So I suppose the issue was when the system tries to play the splash video with a random resolution.
I removed the videos that were not playing on splash and left only the videos that were working fine. Now it boots every time with no issues. (Luckily)
POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Find the config file regarding to the splash screen and set it to Batocera Splash Image.
i have a black screen after splash screen in v33-34-35 version I had solved only in v33 with this guide: Connect the mini HDMI cable to the port closest to the power supply Launch Batocera on Pi 4 and log in via SSH mount -o remount, rw / boot cp /boot/cmdline.txt /boot/cmdline.txtbackup nano /boot/cmdline.txt Add video = HDMI-A-1: 1920x1080M @ 60 at the end of the line and save (note the space)
