The current UI we have for trying the speech recognition comes from the Cloud Robotics hackathon, https://github.com/AndroidMontreal/UpAndRunningWithAndroid/tree/master/Tutorial
Its too simple. we need at least a text box with the hypotheses, and maybe an x on each so the user can delete all the hypotheses that are bad, or edit the best one....
