Likelihood_mpk, on the analytical marginalization over the bias #41

Open MEscudero opened 9 years ago

MEscudero commented 9 years ago

Between lines 1420 and 1468 of likelihood_class.py a marginalization over the bias is performed. There is a comment mentioning a paper where this procedure is explained. ¿May I ask for the reference?

Thanks in advance for the time!

Hello @MEscudero

I believe this part was written originally by Signe Riemer-Sørensen, but I don't think she has a Github account. I will contact her and will update this issue then. Thanks for the feedback.

Many thanks Benjamin!

Hello @MEscudero. The methods is described in details in the WiggleZ neutrino paper http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2012PhRvD..85h1101R (using importance sampling) and also in the WiggleZ cosmological results paper http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2012PhRvD..86j3518P (using the CosmoMC module that we later converted to MontePython). Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
