Benchmark-Confirm: Different VERSION between search.cpan.org and metacpan.org #2

Something is wrong with the version numbers of this distribution as they appear on CPAN.

If I go to http://search.cpan.org/dist/Benchmark-Confirm, I observe that the current version of this distribution is 0.04, dated 25 Jun 2013.

However, if I go to metacpan.org and enter "Benchmark-Confirm" into the search box, I ultimately come here: https://metacpan.org/pod/Benchmark::Confirm. On this page I observe that the latest version is 0.22, dated Apr 13, 2013.

0.04 < 0.22, but Jun 25 2013 > Apr 13, 2013.

If I go to the distribution's repository and examine the Changes file (https://github.com/bayashi/Benchmark-Confirm/blob/f171fc2928adce8c18892b7e1a1b2b246c4ed7c4/Changes), I see:

 0.04 Wed Jun 26 08:42:13 JST 2013
...
 0.22 2013-04-13T10:55:58Z

I keep a 'minicpan' repository on disk, and in it I see:

-rw-rw-r-- 1 jkeenan jkeenan 19255 Apr 13 2013 Benchmark-Confirm-0.22.tar.gz

Somehow it appears that CPAN (PAUSE, perhaps) managed to upload 0.04 even though its version number is lower than the previously uploaded 0.22.

I don't know how this could have happened. But may I suggest uploading a new version, say, 0.5, to try to overcome this problem?

Thank you very much. Jim Keenan

Thank you for your report. Indeed, the versioning of this module is furry. Anyway, I bumped version to 1.00, and shiped it to CPAN. I hope that these problems are solved.

@jkeenan It seems that this problem has been fixed now. Would you mind checking it again?
