Swiftmailer supports Sendmail, so, It would be good to have it in yii-mail.
I can give you a hand maintaining this extension if you want.

I need some help with the mailing extension. I want my app to send my mails 
through my gmail account by I continue get some errors of permissions and 
authentication of smtp of google.
