I was messing around with Gazelle today and the interface system currently used in Gazelle is very Go-centric and hard to extend without introducing breaking changes. I also think that we should NOT introduce breaking change given how critical the tool is to the rest of the ecosystem.

I think it might be interesting to fund a Gazelle 2.0 (naming TBD) that is designed with a more generic approach in mind.
