@alexeagle Could you give me the necessary rights to edit settings for this repo? Looks like branch protection is disabled and thus the CI checks aren't binding.

Fixed your access. Also I added one check as required for branch protection. GH has a bug (?) that you can't say "require any statuses produced by the matrix" so your choices are to pick one, or hard-code all of them such that someone has to update the GH UI every time the matrix changes :(
