Well after rebooting the DS416Play with the adapter connected to one of the rear ports, it's now detected and configurable on the list of network adapters in the control panel. My bad for not trying that earlier.
Description of the problem
I’ve installed version 2.14.0-2 of the RTL8152/RTL8153 driver for Braswell on my DS416Play and its listed as running in Package Center, however when I connect the Sabrent NT-S25G ethernet adapter to any of the three USB ports, it’s never listed on the network interface tab of the Network Control Panel. All three USB ports on the DS416play are able to power on both LEDs on the adapter, however when running the lsusb command, the adapter only appears to be detected on the top and bottom rear USB ports. Its never detected when connected to the front USB port. Any assistance you can offer in getting the adapter detected as a configurable network interface in DSM would be greatly appreciated.
