This was with the driver 2.15.0-2, seems more stable than the -3 version, transfer speed of the v2 of this driver is awesome but still drops connection to the server until you restart the service.
Well my testing has left me with no success on the DS418J Synology NAS with the 2.5 GBps driver, as noted on a number of posts this is a limitation of the hardware in this NAS rather than the drivers themselves.
I will be closing my original issue logged under the CPU spiking, but I do want to thank the efforts of the author for these drivers and this community to improving this project.
Just comment: This log indicates xHCI host controller hardware has some issue and it seems to be the cause of this problem.
xhci-hcd xhci-hcd.5.auto: URB transfer length is wrong, xHC issue? req. len = 4, act. len = 4294967292
The recent kernel has some mechanisms to avoid this kind of issue called "quirks", but the version Synology uses does not support this, unfortunately.
Thanks for checking, I'll wait for an upgrade opportunity. 😉

Description of the problem
Anytime that I download a file from my NAS, to my local computer the process becomes hung, and eventually stops or I have to stop it manually. Small files are ok (anything under 500MB) , the driver installed on the NAS is running and I am connecting to the IP address of the USB Ethernet adapter. The adapter ID is eth1. ** Now copying from PC to NAS works, but at 100 MB/s.
