ULT-WIIQ USB 2.5G Ethernet Adapter -WORKS with DS720+ (Gemini Lake)

Installed driver first then after plugging in USB restart NAS and then will show Ethernet Adapter in DSM GUI. and then set IP etc to your liking.

I have tested read/write with AJA SYSTEM TEST and moved files

270 MB READ and 270MB write VERY STABLE WORKING GREAT SO FAR

  • DS720+ I have only tested the front USB port on DS720+ as that's direct to PCB and the recommended port.

    • DSM version 7.1-42621

  • ULT-WIIQ USB 2.5G Ethernet Adapter, USB 3.0 to RJ45 LAN Network Adapter (AMAZON £25.99 03/2022) bb-qq driver [2.15.0-5 DSM7.0] (RTL 2.5GBE)

    Description of your environment

  • connect to TP LINK TL-SX105 (maybe best to buy the SG model 2.5gbe is cheaper)

    • PC: MOTHERBOARD TUF GAMING B560M
    • Hub: SYNOLOGY RT2600ac

  • cable category (Cat.6a 10M) from eBay kenable ltd "round" cat6a with silver ends.
