Hey, please don't merge my PR yet. I don't think I'm doing it right.

In addition to adding some more info about step 1, I added some stuff to the gh-pages branch, but it still a work in progress

This had already been merged. Just as two separate PR's. Would have been nice if it was just one, but it's no problem. Looking forward to whatever else you add.
