It currently does not. It used to when it used a (now-outdated) export engine, which I have since updated to putexcel

Ok this is implemented in d82d616e6408eeccd15d690b9dde700aa098940f. You can install the pre-release version and let me know if there are any issues with it by using net from https://github.com/bbdaniels/stata/raw/master/

Hope all is well! Loving sumstats and wondering whether there's already an option available that allows to export stats to the same Excel file, but a specific sheet? I don't see the option in my STATA now, however, I saw it in one of DIME presentation slides. Thanks a lot!
