Switch non-interactive output to 'simple' format? #36

Should we switch the default output when invoking the cli.sh non-interactively to simple? Looks like the default is json. IMO, json should be printed when requested explicitly only. Thoughts? Anything I'm missing? I will send the PR if it's a go, let me know.

I think this was implemented as part of a general command framework redesign. @bbende can you confirm and close please?
