This PR shifts around the order of ideas slightly in the first few paragraphs of the introduction to ensure that they flow more naturally.

Para 1 - geo-distributed systems are good and people like them, the big guys got there first and then tried to generalize, but the generalizations don't serve the rest of us so well Para 2 - what do modern app developers need that isn't solved by the existing stuff? Para 3 - motivation for the HC approach is a single, system-wide consensus protocol

@rebeccabilbro I merged this one instead of squashing it so that the enumeration version history is still there.
