[IceWM info widget] Suggestion to add a notification window #657

I am reading an icewm tutorial right now.

It reads:

"Within your /home/username/.icewm folder, there should be a subfolder named “themes”. If that subdirectory is not already present, create it."

As superuser I checked but there was no .icewm directory there.

Would it be possible to add a widget to the icewm menu, that shows where these directories can be found? The directories icewm looks for modifications such as themes.

I could perhaps click on it, the widget emerges and shows where these paths are on my computer system. That way I know where to look at and modify things. I kind of stopped reading the tutorial when such a directory was not existing; it would be nice if icewm itself could tell me this. Or perhaps just a commandline flag, such as "icewm --directories" or some other query-flag.

Oops - just found it:

icewm --directories

Still perhaps some widget showing more info in a running icewm could be considered, but this issue here is kind of resolved either way.
