resolve test issues and failures:
- ~some test results have changed from saved output (gradient_vecpar_profile, optimx): not warning/error, but CRAN will complain. May be trivial/just need to update *.Rout.save file?~
- ~tests/profbound.R fails~ (fixed)
~make sure inst/NEWS.Rd is updated~
~run reverse-dependency checks (presumably with revdepcheck package)~. This seems OK: revdepcheck gets everything OK except Luminescence, SEERabomb, and broom. Manual checking of these three suggests they're OK (or at least not broken by the changes in bbmle).
~release new version of R2admb (revdep checks only known issue ... ?)~ (don't know what I was thinking here?)
