(I'm impressed by the diligence of sending this "early" so that I received it on the time-zone appropriate date.)
Honestly, I was just hoping to get feedback (and incorporate any other really good jokes) before the onset of western-hemisphere April 1 ... (repo is currently private, although since as you point out it is now April 1 somewhere, I will open it up ...)
Dealing with time and date data has long been a problem for statisticians, and this problem is especially acute when working with Generalised Linear Mixed Models.
Generative Large Language Models are capable of solving all problems, real or imagined - including complex problems, which are a combination of the two.
As such this tool should also include features to address time-zone calculations.
I'm also not 100% sure where I've left my keys. In that context features for locating lost objects seem advisable, while of course keeping the goals of the project tightly scoped and achievable.
