Stability Conditions for MNCD #12

Are there specific criteria for MNCD systems that are analogous to the jury conditions for discrete systems, in that they determine whether or not a given equilibrium point is stable? I have in my notes that T < 0, but i'm not sure what the requirement is on the determinant for stability.

equilibrium point is stable if T<0 and D>0
