Does the participation report affect the other group members' marks?
It may affect the other group members' marks. For example, if Joe, Fred, and Susan all agree that Martin was difficult to work with and didn't contribute anything useful to the project, Martin's mark will go down (not down to zero, but down). Please be polite, but as honest as you can. If you're really uncomfortable singling people out/mentioning names you can comment only on your contribution vs. everyone else's (as a group).
How intensive should I be in writing it?
It doesn't need to be more than a few sentences long.
Will this report be available to be read by my group members?
The participation report is private; only I will read it.
