Start scan button pushed in scan settings window while previous scan not yet closed #65

When the "Start scan" button pushed in the scan settings window while
previous scan has not yet been closed, the program has a problem. (Can't
recall exactly what happens, but nothing good... and I think you lose all
of the settings that you have chosen, in the process.)

Instead of having that happen, what should happen is:
1. Check if window is open from previous scan.
2. If so, close the window gracefully.
3. Then open up a new window representing the newly-specified scan.
