Declining Ba on D6 sites in CWHvh2 #8

Disconnect between mapped CCISS results (both 2 panel maps and ByBEC) and the CCISS tool. Maps show declining feasibility in CWHvh2 (and on outer coast) for D6, while CCISS tool shows that feasibility is maintained on 07, 08 and 09 site series. Artefact of declining feasibility on site series 13 (and 18, 19?).

Ba feasibility increases from the Central to North Coast in the hypermaritime region, i.e. CWHvh2, on zonal sites. In the same region, Ba feasibility declines on D6 sites – artefact of the mapping. o CWHvh2/01 (C4) feasibility increases from tertiary species to secondary (primary). *Projection is 100% CWHvh1 by 2041-2060. no good analog (raised in separate issue)** o CWHvh2/07 /08 and /09 (D6) feasibility is maintained as a primary species in the CCISS tool. o CWHvh2/13 feasibility decreases. image image image

CWHvh2/07 – D6. Feasibility is maintained (same for 08 and 09 sites). image

CWHvh2/13 – D6. Feasibility is declining. image

CWHvh2/19 – Pacific crab apple. D6. Site series 18 and 19 do not have Ba, but show up as declining. Are these site series also factored in to the overall “D6” calculations? image
