Update High Value flag to reflect new direction for Critical Information and High Value indicators #504
As a catalogue user
I want to the flagging/badges to be clear and defined
so that I can quickly assess the importance of data I am looking at.
Describe the idea
The current high value badge is displayed for MR's who have the Critical Information set to Yes:
However, the work to define High Value and Critical Information has identified that these should be separate qualifiers on the metadata record (e.g. a dataset could be high value and not critical). This means the current badging will need to be updated.
Suggestions:
Change the current High Value badging to something that indicates overall importance (to cover either High Value or Critical Information, or both). Ideas:

Review the use of colour choice (blue) to represent important information - should it be something more prominent?
Additional thought: ribbon badges might want to be reserved for future use of data quality indicator.
