3.3.7 Autofill Repeat Information- Student/ Supporting User- Accessibility Fixes - Level A -Redundant Entry

User Story **As a student ,I need previously input information made available as an option to assist me with memory recall and reduce the amount of time needed to source the same information twice.

**As a Supporting Partner with memory/sequencing issues I need the Data I previously entered to be available as an autofill entry so that I don't have to recall it by memory.

Context:

• These issues were uncovered through accessibility audit via CITZ.

• Information previously entered by or provided to the user that is required to be entered again in the same process is either auto-populated or available for the user to select (except in specific circumstances). Also see 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose.

The Problem

• Form does not save user data, which can pose barriers for users relying on assistive technology or who have memory/sequencing issues who require re-submitting a form.
• Often had to input the same personal information (date of birth, name, location, etc.) for multiple forms without assistance. This is especially difficult for people with executive functioning difficulties, memory issues, and non-visual users. Rowan didn't experience browser support with this, but maybe the devs have more insight on that.

Acceptance Criteria

• [ ] Determine which fields are appropriate to autofill from historical applications and which one are not (BA's)
• [ ] Enable Form to provide the 'option' for the the user to select previously entered data via a dropdown menu for the following fields:

• [ ] If an application errors out and a student has to re-enter information again- auto-populate their previous enters for the above fields.
• [ ] If we add SAVE at the top of each page in the application then we reduce the risk of an student having to re-enter the entire application.

Spoke to Rowan King.. we adjusted the AC's to say- Provide the Option to allow for autofill and not to rely on browser. Love to hear Devs can approach this
