Currently Wally is at version 2.4.0 of GDAL(Geospatial Data Abstraction Library). This version was released 4 years ago. The GDAL product portal no longer lists it as a supported version. In addition, there is a discrepancy between the Wally production and local environment which is at version 3.2.2. The discrepancy may lead to a different application behaviour in the local environment and production.
Because of that we need to consider upgrading GDAL in the Wally OpenShift image to the latest version or at least to the version 3.2.2
Actions:
Upgrade GDAL in the Wally image that is used for backend container to at least version 3.2.2
Test entire Wally application functionality to make sure there is no regression
