Are you doing the updates @WadeBarnes or are you asking for help? If so, how do you want to divide the work?
@swcurran, What's the timing on the transfer? If it's going to be soon it may be best to rename the repo and then update all the references after the transfer. That way I'm not updating the referances twice and the automatic redirect will handle things in the mean time.
I was just making a list. I can handle the reference updates, there aren't many.
We should do it quickly from one to the other. So yes, probably best for you to do both moves and then fix it. I'm OK with that. We could add a note at to the top of the README -
NOTE: Repository renaming and cleanup in progress. Do not use yet.
And then we can deal with anything else. As long as the LICENSE is in place and correct, we should be good to go.
I don't think the note will be needed. It will all happen fast once I start the transfer with Ry. I can have the reference updates ready to go on PRs.
I'll rename the repo and queue everything else up for when it's transferred.
I meant more the documentation in the README in particular. It's not very useful for someone wanting to use aries-vcr. Useful background information, but not appropriate for a README.
Initial renaming complete; https://github.com/bcgov/aries-vcr
I queue all the other updates up in the morning.
Updates have been staged to all of the affected repositories. We can take the PRs out of Draft once the transfer is complete.
Please rename and make appropriate deployment changes.
I'll be doing a bit of writing this week and then we'll move it to Hyperledger. At minimum, the README.md must be updated before we move it.
