To prepare for our external user research (when we have capacity & an approved PIA), this ticket documents setting expectations and thinking about our ideal research scope.

Acceptance criteria:

[ ] Agreed upon vision or high-level goals
[ ] Alternative to vision/goals is clear problem statements
[ ] 3-5 clear objectives
[ ] 5-10 things listed that we want to learn
[ ] Potential sources identified (people, places, etc.)
[ ] Recruitment methods determined
[ ] Brainstorm & list a few synthesis & analysis ideas
[ ] Brainstorm communication methods (e.g., presentation, documents, boards)
[ ] List potential expenses
[ ] Work with CIF team to get feedback

Thank you @jaimiebutton - do you intend that this ticket will be completed before we get our additional resource or once they have joined the team? As part of this ticket, we may also want to include a bullet about working with CIF to develop the plan?

This ticket would be helpful before getting our additional resource to set them up with helpful information, though is not crucial. CIF involvement is a great idea!

This is a high-level need, sort of an epic of research. It will help guide usability testing #208 and the CPI survey #242. Perhaps this could be organized differently.
