Resource Type Facet Missing from Filter Search Results menu (DDS-438) #356

The Resource Type Facet no longer exists.

This is a heavily used feature as consumers do not always know that a file extension may be spatial or not and for BCGW objects, it is set to Other, there a consumer would have to dig into each resource.

A Facet would provide an easy way to find the resource type classification defined by the provider.

Can dataset types be added as a filter?

Facets come from Solr and the resource type is not stored on a level that solr can index (solr can't index into json objects) so unfortunately this isn't solvable as a facet, it can be solved with an advanced search later on
