@sheilamv or @TerryLanktree any wordsmithing advice?
@annikaLiving, not sure what your bullet point above means. The new text for Organizations and Groups looks very good.
@sheilamv updated the comment. :)
@annikaLiving, my head is a bit fuzzy still, sorry. Are you thinking that we should have an Admin Menu with some things like - Access Management (add remove editors, Admins, etc), Organization Management (add, modify, retire), Group Management (add, modify, retire), which would be visible under the hamburger to those who are logged in with IDIRs? The destination would be our JIRA Service Desk?
I believe this relates to the text box you can see on the "Organizations" page and the "Groups" page (text box in top right corner). I would recommend the updated text without any contact information, This can be added once JSM is operational.
Current:
Organizations The responsibility to manage Datasets, APIs and Applications (collectively resources) and the descriptive information about these resources (metadata), rests with the organizations that have Data Custodial responsibility for the resources. In the public sector this is typically a branch of a ministry. In this case the Data Custodian is the Director or Executive Director of the branch.
Groups Groups are used to collect datasets for a particular project or on a particular theme. These groups are managed by DataBC Data Catalogue team
