As the Team lead for Catalogue services, I want to have all the groups involved with managing the BCDC to be "on the same page" so that we can resolve user issues quickly and effectively

Multiple groups within DataBC are responsible for managing the operation of the BC Data Catalogue:
Catalogue group (Dave and Mike and Heidi)
Development of new features, fixing all the broken stuff
DA group (Annika and Meg and Corinne; Stu as TL)
Responsible for managing the content, interacting with clients, advising the Catalogue group of problems encountered by themselves and clients
DBA/Middleware (Leo and Steve; Caroline as TL)
Responsible for making sure all the infrastructure (hardware, software pieces, web, etc.) runs smoothly; openshift, data pusher, solr indexer, migration of new versions to TEST and PROD, advising DA and Catalogue group of issues
Distribution and Web Mapping Services (Terry and Michelle; Chris as TL; DA support from Annika and Mike)
Advise on integration of distribution, iMap, WMS resources
We are distributed geographically (even here in Victoria), and the “who does what” has recently changed. So we have some challenges. In this meeting I would like to discuss (and (I hope) come to a common understanding of)

Note that I’m hoping the focus of this group will be on “operations”, not “development”. We have a separate agile team focussed on development, working at the Lab. The two groups are obviously related – operations challenges will influence development; development work and infrastructure activities will impact operations.
I realize not everyone invited is available, but hopefully we can make some progress anyway. I will distribute minutes on what we decide. Leo and Dave, I’m hoping that you can call in from the Lab.
